The Ink & Bone Merch Story

Every cool business has an origin story, this one just happens to be made up.

My grandpa always used to say, “There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes, and people loving stickers”. Those sage words of wisdom became my guiding motto in life. And then one day, I realized it wasn’t enough to just live by those words, I needed to bring death, taxes, and stickers to the world.

After unsuccessfully trying to find a way to combine the three, and upon the advice of my legal counsel, I decided to leave death and taxes to the experts and focus to the last piece of the puzzle: stickers. I realized that in order to bring the joy of stickers to people everywhere, I would have to do something that nobody had ever done before: create a small online store where people could buy my stickers and have them delivered to anywhere within the United States. And then, because settling for "good enough" is not my style, I broke the mold again by deciding to sell t-shirts and other merchandise too. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but with a dream in my heart and a bunch of weird illustrations in my sketchbook, I persevered.

But the late nights and hours of procrastinating on social media were worth it. Because now anyone with internet access can visit this site and get a sticker and stick it to anything they like. They can even buy a t-shirt with something weird on it and then wear it around so other weirdos can find them. If they're feeling really wild, they could do both. And that's what grandpa would have wanted.
